i actually teared up. coz i felt like everyone was tearing God down and there was no one defending God. EVerytime i put my hand up, that guy wld jsut ignore it. And i gave up trying. i feel bad that i didn't defend God :'(

so we go for gd dimsum.. YUMYUM
yes, below we are introduced to cameron, the tourist.. who absolutely would die for beautiful CITY sights...
now for the people who thoroughly enjoyed themselves..

just looking at the pics make me hungry mannnn. and notice the chopsticks how we put them differently.. its so funny how all of us put our chopsticks vertically on on plates.. don't you guys do that too?? well, all except gaudenz that is. (I SPELT YOUR NAME RITE. :p) interesting observation....
look at our dessert! YUMMY .. korean bread ike icecream.. in short, it tastes like ice cream cakeee... YUM.. we haven't found it in any other place except TT. i would love to eat it again tho', im sure eden wld too... right eden??? (she's so diligently doing her maths besides me, and i'm blogging... TERRIBLE JOY...)

new neighbours?
Isn't the dog cute?!?! her name is saidi... so, our upstairs neighbours had to take the dog in, since the father passed away... and shes so adorable! Its like when i'm opening the door of the house to get out, saidi will come rushing down to greet me! and even when i'm coming home, she'll come out to say Hi.. I've been liking the idea of having a dog.. provides extra security, and in general, i love animals!
unfortunately however, our landlady, is being really particular, and looks like she's not going to allow them to keep the dog :(
here comes the worst part.... they're gonna move out! Infact they've already found a apartment!! (Right now, i can hear them packing) URGH... horrible.. coz they're such great neighbours.. quiet and nice people...
now parveen and i are going to suffer.... hope that our landlady will find gd ppl to occupy the place on top of us. hahaha. Yes, they are neighbours on top of us. and.. we can hear them if they are noisy -.- I WILL COMPLAIN I TELL U. if the neighbours are not up to standard -.- LAME..

oh, and i went for a christian thing aft tt. cool. it was totally methodist. HAHA. sang hymns that i've nvr even heard before. But interesting la. the dude spoke on faith. I think i still have to explore further though..

CLASSES ARE DONE FOR THE DAY.
yes, just as the titles states.. I'm done with classes for the day. SHIOK RITE.
actually i had a lab from 10-12, but apparently, no lab today! so i only had class fr 9-10!!! LOL.
well, for my first class in 8yrs, it started out pretty bad.. coz it was raining and the traffic was so bad, i arrived late. -.- OH AND I NEED NEW SHOES. seriously, the sneakers that i currently own, are full of holes.. so i was walking around with like water logged socks -.- GROOSSSSS...
ok la, seems like GEOB - geographical biogeosciences is an interesting course! study of the earth. JOY LIKES THAT.. if i was studying rocks and minerals and crystals, i wld like that even more...
So thats all i wanted to say.. that.. i only had a 50mins lecture tdy! and i'm done for the day. just gotta wait for the rest to fin their classes and den gonna shop for "Iliad".

Imagine UBC 2013
my cam died on me, so unfortunately no pictures..
Well, just a brief summary...
today was "Imagine UBC" day.. It was an interesting orientation experience..we had the opportunity to mt up with our dean, and even break into smaller cohorts and mt our professors..
We also had a pep rally.. which was a super hyped up thing. I must say it was pretty cool too though. ALL 7000 students gathered in the thunderbird arena(which will be the venue for woman's hockey, winter olympics 2010).. and how all the deans and VIPs came in with their "graduation gowns?" on.. COOL.
a pity i dun have pics, but i'm sure i'll be able to find them online somewhere, when others have posted them..
well, so tmr, FIRST OFFICIAL DAY of sch! AT UBC! lol..
my schedule.. Shiok to the max...
9-10 : Geob lecture 10-12: geob lab
ANd... i have ABSOLUTELY nothing afterthat! hahahaha.. i'm off to find "Iliad" by Homer in the afternoon.. since i have to start reading, essay on that book will be due in 2 weeks... -.-

UBC farm day - 31st August '09
Nearing the end of jumpstart, we had our farmday presentations.. yes, the ones that we worked on SO DAMN HARD. lol.
UBC farm is a pretty nice place.. "organic" i guess.
Taadaki was trying to shield himself fr the sun's rays by hiding behind sarah... i really dun tink that will work. LOL.

so jumpstart is finally over..and over the nx few days, i shall upload all the pictures i took.
jumpstart was, ABSOLUTELY EXHAUSTING.. but i have to say, i did gain a valuable experience - (such as, getting lost on campus for like an hr, looking for forestry building, and in doing so, missing one whole lecture) i have definitely become more familiar with the campus.. AND i met alot of nice, fun, crazy, smart, unique individuals.. u'll prob see their pictures here, since they're pestering me to upload. (sounds familiar gen6.3?? liz and jan in particular. LOL LOL.)
u can see Gaodentz (hes the kind of swaziland.. well, 51st in line that is. AHHAA :P ) as a small figure... right at the middle of the picture.. as Danny has mentioned, GP is really like a trailblazer.. he always walks so fast and paves the way for all of us. A general of an army indeed.
